Genesis Security was founded in December 1995, by Larry A. Poston Jr,  with the goal of becoming the leading security service provider in Indiana. The company began as a father and son’s endeavor, with Lawrence A. Poston Sr. and his son working tirelessly to establish relationships with local promoters, including Geno Shelton and Guy Black, as well as radio station WTLC. They provided personal security services for a variety of entertainers, nightclubs, and special events. Following Lawrence’s passing in 2011, his son Larry, partnered with Frank Codozor and later with Jared Bailey to carry on the company’s mission. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Genesis Security has continued to grow and now serves clients such as Citizens Energy Group, Indiana National Guard, and the Indianapolis Star. As of December 2023, the company will have completed 28 years of service, and the vision of Lawrence and his son Larry, continues to be fulfilled.
